Keezer's Springfield

Keezer's Springfield

Keezer's Springfield is in The Republican today, Wed. Dec 13. This is the link to the online article.

Why does it matter that Keezer's opened in downtown Springfield, Ma. at the Masslive Building (1350 Main St.)?

- A vote of confidence for the ongoing revival of Springfield's Metro Center and downtown Springfield specifically. First there was MGM and then restaurants like Jackalope and Osteria. Now we are getting market rate apartments like ThirtyOne Elm and higher-end retail. The emergence of retail suggests Springfield has turned a corner!

- Every downtown has fun consignment, vintage, antique or other secondhand stores and now Springfield joins the club with its own unique, destination shop.

- This may be the first time that a Cambridge retailer has made its way out to Springfield and Dick Robasson deserves credit for taking this risk on a postindustrial city that seen challenges in the past.
