Late for summer but in time for jacket season, Keezer's opens on floor one of the MassLive Building at 1350 Main Street in Downtown Springfield (just opposite Nadim's)! The first time a Cambridge retailer opens in Springfield, Keezer's will be the most unique shop on Main Street since the days of department stores like Steiger's and Forbes and Wallace. Front and Center, this is right next to the City Hall, Court Square, and the Mass Mutual Center and three minutes walk from MGM.

Founded in 1895, Keezer's is the oldest secondhand store in America. A German immigrant started Keezer's to rent and sell formal attire to Harvard boys, which it has done for over a century.
Adored by many in Greater Boston, Keezer's entered a new phase in 2017 when Haitian-born tailor Dick Robasson bought the brand and its stock after the previous owner sold the River St. location. Robasson moved the store to a Mass Ave. spot even closer to Harvard and opened a second branch in East Cambridge. Now offering alterations, Keezer's sells everything from designer and casual menswear to shoes and accessories. Now Robasson is going big and Springfield is step one.

Keezer's is part of a larger retail project called 1350 Market after the address of One Financial Plaza, (also known as the Mass Live Building). 1350 Market is the brainchild of Andrew Melendez, Executive Director of the Latino Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). Melendez is major player in the ongoing revitalization of Springfield through LEDC work in providing microgrants, coaching, and facilities for entrepreneurs in the Latino and wider Springfield communities.
So come down to Keezer's at 1350 Market and have a look!
