Meet Shammy.

Hi! I'm Shammy, a one-year-old calico cat. I am the inspiration for this cute little cat coaster. This is my story. Once, in South Carolina, some nice animal rescue people found a young girl kitty who was white with orange patches. She was pregnant. The rescue people knew that kittens could never survive on their own, so they took her to a center for stray cats. At the center, she gave birth to me and two brothers. I don't remember much about my mother, but she wasn't very nice. In my early days as a kitten there, one day a father and daughter duo came in. The father had a frown on his face, while the daughter was looking at all the different cats. The owner led her to me. Finally! I was being adopted! Both of my brothers had already both found happy families. It was now my turn. The family took me home, where I lived happily. I was reaching my first birthday when the mother thought of an idea. She could help strays like my family. So she started working on the calico cat coaster. The coaster was inspired by how I look. It's made out of 100% recycled plastic so strays don't have to live surrounded by garbage. 10% of the money we make will go to Dakin rescue center in Springfield Mass.
